Portrait Photography Pricing
I love to photograph portrait sessions, whether they are family sessions, high school senior sessions, college graduation sessions, or whatever the case may be. My central philosophy for each shoot is pretty simple. YOU are the boss that day. It’s your portrait session and not mine. I try to make sure you get the photos you want and deserve.
All portrait photography packages from DSmithImages include, at least, the following:
45 minutes of shooting time
No restrictions on wardrobe changes
All final images in high resolution & social media resolution
All final images in color & black and white
Online proofing gallery + a print/product credit to be used via proofing gallery
Portrait packages start at $180 with the current discount applied, and all packages can be customized to meet your needs.
I try to do portrait sessions at two particular times of the day. One being early in the morning, before 9:00 A.M., and the other being late in the afternoon near sunset. These are the "golden times" for outdoor photography and will help to get you the best looking photos possible.
In terms of travel, I am available for portrait sessions anywhere in the southeastern United States, although a travel fee might be applied based on the distance from the Birmingham, Alabama area. Many locations in Alabama and outside of Alabama will not be charged a travel fee. A non-refundable 50% retainer and a signed agreement form would be due to book a session. The remaining 50% would be due at the conclusion of the session.
It is an absolute pleasure working with clients in formulating a great portrait session to ensure the photos match their vision of the day. Then it's even better seeing the final product and the delight on the faces of my clients when they received their finished portraits. I’ve done an extensive number of family, high school, and college graduation portrait sessions over the years, and I’d love to do yours as well! You can see a collection of my portrait photography by visiting my portrait photography gallery and my portrait photography session recaps.
