My college graduation portrait season for the 2019 spring semester kicked off with a bang on the morning of March 24th as I got to photograph a session for Lauren on the campus of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I’m so happy Lauren picked DSmithImages Wedding Photography, Portraits, and Events to provide her graduation photos, and I’m so glad we were able to do the session on such a beautiful early spring morning.
Lauren put a personalized touch on this shoot with a customized mortarboard, complete with a jeweled University of Alabama logo. It was a great and stylish touch. This session also special because Lauren made it a complete family affair. Along with her solo photos, Lauren was able to get photos made with her entire family. Her parents, sister, and grandparents all joined in to mark this wonderful milestone. Lauren even brought along her dog, and he was such a good boy during the session! We all made use of the popular campus landmarks, such as The President’s Mansion and Bryant-Denny Stadium, and those locations really popped in the early morning sunlight. It was great experience all around!
I’d like to thank Lauren and her family for choosing me to do this great graduation portrait session. I’d like to wish Lauren all the best once she graduates from The University of Alabama!
