The grounds of Samford University in Homewood, Alabama are gorgeous, and that makes the campus an ideal location for an engagement session. I had the pleasure of doing an engagement session at Samford University for Jessica and Hunter on the morning of September 8th. Jessica and Hunter will be getting married in June of 2020, and I’m so glad they selected DSmithImages Wedding Photography, Portraits, and Events to document their big day.
Both Jessica and Hunter went to Samford so the campus holds a special place in their hearts. The early morning September sunlight made everything so strikingly beautiful and warm throughout the shoot. It really complimented and added to the look the happy couple wanted for their engagement photos. As we walked around the main part of campus, we made sure to get all of the high points and scenic locations. We then took a quick drive over to where the College of Health Sciences is located. That area used to be the grounds of Southern Living, and the wooded locale made for a nice contrast with the traditional campus setting.
I want to thank Jessica and Hunter for going with DSmithImages Wedding Photography, Portraits, and Events as their wedding photographer provider. I’m counting down the days to June of 2020 when I get to photographer their wedding. I’d also like to thank the representatives at Samford University for letting us do this early morning engagement session on campus.
