On a recent visit to Tuscaloosa, I had the pleasure of doing what turned out to be an excellent and cute portrait session for the Nickerson family. Unlike a lot of family portrait sessions, this particular shoot featured only one member. It featured little Isabella as the session was done to celebrate her upcoming 1st birthday! As a result, I wanted to make sure I was able to give her family some fantastic images to use in anticipation of that big day.
It had rained a bit the morning we did the session, but the weather did cooperate with us in time for the shoot. Little Isabella was also incredibly cooperative as she didn't cry or fuss at all during the shoot. She attentively looked at the camera and was quite curious about what exactly was going on as the shoot progressed.
The setting and location of The Park at Manderson Landing also made for a great backdrop for the session. We used one of the main bridges in the park, which has become a favorite location of mine, and then a nice wooded area that exhibited a great sense of space. Both locations in the park added to the overall positive experience of the day!
I wish Isabella a very Happy Birthday this month, and I do hope her family enjoys the photographs commemorating the special day!
