It was a cold and blustery day for DSmithImages Wedding Photography, Portraits, and Events in Odenville, Alabama on November 10th, but that didn’t matter for those who assembled at Odenville Presbyterian Church for the wedding of Ashley and Adam. The happy couple tied the knot in a classic and traditional church ceremony surrounded by numerous family members and friends. It was a lovely fall wedding celebration with a great bit of down home and DIY charm.
As their family and friends put the finishing touches on the decorations for the ceremony and the reception, Ashley and Adam had their first look in front of the historic church in Odenville. They then moved inside for a round of photos in the sanctuary before the ceremony began. Once it was time for the wedding celebration, Ashley and Adam included a unity cross ceremony, which added a very nice touch to the wedding. Adam also decided to serenade his bride with a lovely song before the two shared their first kiss as a married couple.
After the wedding ceremony, Ashley and Adam celebrated with their guests during a wonderful reception. Several people pitched in to make the reception a great time for the newlyweds. During the reception, Ashley, Adam, and I went back outside to the church’s prayer garden for a few minutes to get some more photos showcasing the lovely grounds of Odenville Presbyterian Church. When the couple was ready to say goodbye to their guests, they did so with a lovely bubble exit in the middle of the afternoon. It was a great way to put a cap on a beautiful celebration.
I’d like to wish Ashley and Adam nothing but the best in their lives together. I’d like to thank and their families for having me out to photograph their wedding celebration. It was an honor to do so.
