Saturday, June 9th turned out to be a perfect time to do some graduation portraits on the campus of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, and that is exactly what I did. I headed down to the Druid City that afternoon to photograph a graduation session for Andrea, who just finished up a masters program in nursing. Campus and Andrea looked absolutely stunning during the duration of this shoot on a warm summer evening in Tuscaloosa.
We, of course, hit all the popular graduation portrait session spots on campus, including Denny Chimes, The President's Mansion, and Bryant-Denny Stadium, but Andrea also wanted to get several shots in front of the College of Nursing. She even donned her white lab coat and stethoscope to add a nice touch to things. I do always enjoy getting to really personalize graduation sessions with the inclusion of academic buildings and other spots that meant a lot to a student during their time on campus.
I want to sent a word of congratulations and best wishes to Andrea upon graduation and entering the profession of nursing. I also want to thank her for having DSmithImages Wedding Photography, Portraits, and Events out to shoot these graduation portraits.
Please enjoy these great shots from Andrea's graduation portraits on the campus of The University of Alabama. If you or someone you know needs a graduation session, whether it is the current semester or one in the future, I'd love to discuss details.
