Back in March, I headed down to Tuscaloosa, Alabama and The Historic Drish House for what turned out to be a very lovely shoot for DSmithImages Wedding Photography, Portraits, and Events. I met up with LIz, a dear friend of mine, to photograph her bridal portraits in anticipation of her April 20th wedding. Liz’s wedding took place at Alabama’s beautiful Lake Guntersville, but she wanted to make use of the historic Drish House for her bridal photos. I was more than happy to oblige the request.
Liz’s vintage dress, which came from Ivory and White, and colorful wedding shawl fit in perfectly with the surroundings of The Historic Drish House. The warm and abundant natural light that flows through the historic home also complimented things quite nicely. There was just such a wonderful old school vibe to this entire bridal portrait session, and it set the perfect tone for photographing Liz’s wedding.
I hope you enjoy a sampling of photos from Liz’s bridal portrait session at The Historic Drish House in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
