Modern photography for Modern Times...

DSmithImages is a one man photographic operation based out of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It is designed to provide high quality and creative photographic services to meet a variety of needs. It is my intention not to be just another standard, cookie-cutter photography business. I strive to go above and beyond so I can give you, the client, not only a memorable service in the short term, but a memorable product that will last in the long term.

My main goal is to provide YOU with the photos and services YOU want. As a result, I will be happy to work with you on getting exactly what you want out of a particular project.

It is also the goal of DSmithImages to capture those moments in life that need to be remembered. The random moment at a pivotal point - whether it be a wedding, a birthday, an anniversary, a graduation, or anything in between - the moment that symbolizes the essence and importance of that special day.

As for myself, I am a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Critical Film and Television Studies. I picked up photography as a hobby, and as I tell friends now, I continue to get sucked down the rabbit hole each and every time I go out for a shoot. I am dedicated to providing top notch quality and service to my clients, scratch that, my friends who use me to capture whatever they may need. I have been fortunate to photograph things from the local music scene in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, Alabama to high school football to even the University of Alabama Crimson Tide.
